Girls team of Alexei Smertin Sport School “Altay” participated in a short indoor football tournament in memory of Sergey Prokopiev (Kemerovo). Two teams coached by Oksana Zhbannikova got top places.
In the tournament among born in 1998-2000 Altay gained the 2nd place out of 4. Altay girls won their opponents from Novokuznetsk (4:2) and the 2nd team of Kemerovo Sport School (8:1), but lost to the first Kemerovo team (1:3). Alexandra Trikina got the best player prize.
5 teams participated in senior group (born in 1997 and older). Altay overplayed the girls from Taiga (2:1) and Novosibirsk (7:1), tied with Kemerovo Sport School (4:4) and lost to Kemerovo State University. As a result our girls got the 3rd place. Anna Belomytseva, playing in Altay and Russia national team, was rewarded as the best player of this tournament.
